Pirates of the Caribbean Client Appreciation

On Saturday, May 21, 2011, the Minmaxx team came together to once again thank its clients and celebrate the Victoria Day weekend. Some team members even got into the spirit of the event by dressing up as pirates and Queen Victoria, as clients were treated to a movie premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. As "Queen Victoria" mingled with the audience, the theatre was abuzz with clients who were able to meet and reconnect with the team that helped them sell their properties, while ensuring a smooth and professional experience.

Cars 2 Client Appreciation

On June 25, the Minmaxx team came together to celebrate Canada Day and appreciate all its clients. The event, featuring a Movie Premiere of Cars 2, followed in the footsteps of the previous Client Appreciation event held on May 21, when the Minmaxx team organized a movie premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Nearly 500 people flocked to the theatre to be a part of this event and watch the latest adventures of Lightning McQueen. Some members of the team even got into the spirit of the event by dressing up as a Mountie and a Canadian beaver and posed for pictures, hugs and high fives with the little ones. To reward the kids for waking up early to come to the event, the Minmaxx team also organized a draw for the kids. The top prize was an electric Lightning McQueen Race Car, which was won by a very lucky and very young driver. The event also offered the Minmaxx team an opportunity to socialize with a myriad of previous clients and touch base with them about their home purchase and/or sale.

Community Involvement

The Community has played a crucial role in the success of Minmaxx and as a way of saying thank you, Minmaxx continues to give back through contributions to a variety of local campaigns. As a model corporate citizen, Minmaxx has a strategic partnership with the Milton District Hospital Foundation to improve healthcare in the community by sponsoring community events. The most recent of these was the 2011 Gift of Health Gala held on April 30. Last year, the company also sponsored the 2nd Annual Community Barbeque to raise funds for the hospital. On Halloween, the Minmaxx ream was the platinum sponsor of the Milton Haunted House. As part of its commitment to support socio-economic development of Milton, the Minmaxx team recently contributed $150,000 to sponsor the Arts centre as one of the largest initiatives to instigate growth of the community. In addition, the company continues to support the Ripple Effect Wellness Foundation, a charity dedicated to educating and empowering Canadians to lead healthy lives through proactive decision making. Recently, the Minmaxx team also sponsored the 10th Annual Muslim day for the Canadian Muslim community. Most recently, the Minmaxx team also sponsored a day challenge at Impact Apprentice 2011, a conference dedicated to promoting the entrepreneurial spirit among the top business students across Canada.
